HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER WITH GEARING UP BABY?

HOW DO I MAKE CHANGES TO MY ORDER?
 
If you need to make changes to your order please email us at info@gearingupbaby.com with your request. Please ensure you have all your Information in the email so we can properlly process your request. Please note that all changes are subject to availability. We will reply to your email with confirmation of the modified order.
 
 
HOW EARLY IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY ORDER?
 
Ordering as earily as possible is always the best way to ensure availability on the items you require. Whenever traveling during  summer months or peak holidays please try to place your order several weeks ahead, as those are the busiest times. During non-holiday or summer months one to two weeks notice is  standard. We will always do our best to accomodate any last minute orders. Orders less than 24 hours may be charged a $20 fee
 
WHAT IS THE START AND END DATE OF MY RENTAL?
 
The start date you will be charged from is the day you recieve your equipment, the end date you will be charged for is the last full day you had the equipment. The day of pick up is not a rental day that will be charged to you providing pick up is prior to 3:00pm.
 
WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY DELIVERY OR PICK UP?
 
A 3 hour time window is needed for both delivery's and pick ups. We will always do our best to meet the time commitments that you may require.
 
WHAT IF I HAVE A LAST MINUTE ORDER?
 
No problem, if you have a last minute order you can enter on line and then call to ensure your order has been recieved. Please remember that you must recieve a confirmation via email to ensure your order is filled even if you have spoken to a representitive. Orders less than 24 hours may be charged a $20 fee
 
WHERE CAN I GET DELIVERIES AND PICK UPS?
 
At Gearing Up Baby we are happy to deliver and pick up your items to anywhere from West Vancouver to Chilliwack. We frequently deliver to hotels, vacation homes, your vehicle, the airport, ferry terminal or any destination. We can meet you at a car rental agent in and around airports or at the arrival terminal parking area. We understand that plane delays can happen and will be as accomidating as we can. Please provide us with all flight information when reserving equipment so we can check your flight information. When possible call or text 1-604-319-3407 with updates on late arrivals. A $20 fee is required for all airport deliveries. 
 
CAN YOU PICK UP FROM A LOCATION DIFFERENT FROM THE ORIGINAL DELIVERY LOCATION?
 
Yes! This can be eaisly done, however the pick up location must be in our Gearing Up Baby covered service area.
 
CAN YOU INSTALL CAR SEATS?
 
Gearing Up Baby will be unable to install car seats on your behalf due to liability reasons, Please refer to icbc.com\childcarseats for more information on car seat instalation or visit a BCAA or their website for a saftey course overview.
 
DO YOU ASSEMBLE YOUR EQUIPMENT?
 
Yes the Gearing Up Baby professional who delivers your equipment will assemble and dissasemble your order. Other than car seats you will feel right at home after our delivery specilist is done.
 
IS THERE A MINIMUM ORDER AMOUNT OR DELIVERY FEE?
 
Gearing Up Baby has a minimum order of $50 or there will be a $20 delivery fee.
 
DO YOU PROVIDE LONG TERM RENTALS.
 
Gearing Up Baby is pleased to offer rental equipment for longer periods of time. A %10 discount will be applied to all orders 7 days or longer. Please email us with your questions for rentals longer than 3 weeks in length and we be happy to email you with a seperate quote.
 
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS CLEAN AND SAFE?
 
All of our products have been purchased by Gearing Up Baby, are brand new and are up to date with CSA specifications. They are all inspected, cleaned and sanitized upon return of rental. We use non toxic all natural cleaners for our equipment and review any and all recalls as they happen and adjust our inventory if necessary.  
 
 
WILL I RECIEVE THE EXACT ITEM SHOWN?
 
Gearing Up Baby only carries top quality products for rent from well know maufactures sold in major Canadian retailers, unless the manufacture and\or model is specified, you will recieve of like kind and quality of the item pictured.
 
 
 
WHAT IF I AM UNHAPPY WITH MY RENTAL EQUIPMENT?
 
If for any reason an item you are renting  is not up to your standards and expectations please call us immediately at 604-319-3407. We will do our best to replace the item or refund your money. Gearing Up Baby only buy's items that are are from top quality and well known manufactures sold in major Canadian retalers.
 
 
WHAT IF THERE IS DAMAGED, LOST OR STOLLEN EQUIPMENT?
 
 
As the renter you are responsible your any damaged, lost or stollen equipment when it is in your possession. The item or items must be returned in the condition you recieved them. In the event that this is not the case,  you will be responsible for the replacement cost of the item. This will be charged to your credit card on file.  Please help us keep the equipment clean and safe for our next little guest.
 
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELATION POLICY?
 
Due to the high demand on baby equipment we will do our best to ensure that your are comfortable with your resevation. We completly understand that travel plans can sometimes change last minute and not go according to plan. Orders cancelled within 48 hours of the delivery date will be responsible for 50% of the cost of the original order.
 
HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK AND WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU EXCEPT?
 
Your Credit Card information is needed to complete your reservation and will be charged 48hrs before the start of your rental period. Gearing Up Baby acccepts Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discouer Card. If you require some equipment last minute you can pay at time of delivery with a credt card. We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover Card at time of delivery also. Please be aware that last minute orders are subject to availability.
